Categories Of Sui Gas Domestic Connection

There are two types of Sui Gas connections:

1- Special Connection
2- Normal Connection

Fees and Time

The processing time and fees differ between normal and special connections. The normal connection process usually takes longer and operates on a first-come, first-served basis.

Fee Charged

  • For a normal connection, SNGPL charges Rs. 6000 for properties up to 10 Marla and Rs. 7500 for properties larger than 10 Marla.
  • For a special connection, an additional fee of Rs. 25,000 is required on top of the normal connection fee.

Extra-Charges

You can expedite the process by paying an additional Rs. 25,000.

Here’s the complete procedure:

  1. Submit an application for a new Sui Gas connection.
  2. SNGPL will conduct a house line survey.
  3. You will receive a proposal letter or demand notice from SNGPL.
  4. Installation of the house line will be carried out.
  5. Pay the deposit based on the demand notice.
  6. Your gas connection will be activated.
  7. You will receive your first Sui Gas bill.

Submission Of Application For New Sui Gas Connection

Once you’ve submitted your application for a home connection, the next step is to select a company. After that, set up both a functional and digital system to manage the gas supply. Finally, submit your report for approval.

House Line Survey By SNGPL

After completing your application, the next step is to visit the chosen company and meet with their agent. The agent will prepare a report detailing the operation and explain the technical aspects of your gas connection. Once the report is prepared, it will be submitted for approval.

The company will provide details about the security deposit and service line charges on the date assigned by SNGPL. For a domestic connection, the fixed security deposit is Rs. 4500. Service line charges are Rs. 1500 for plots up to 10 Marla, and Rs. 3000 for plots larger than 10 Marla.

House Line Installation

You have the opportunity to get house line installation through your region contractor. You can approach him and he will definitely help you to get this service. 

He will properly check the line quality standards set by the SNGPL. Moreover, it’s a house plan issued by the company. The agent will make sure to check the offered pressure, leakage authenticity, and unpleasant events that happen after the gas supply.

Deposit Demand Notice

  • Next, submit the contract agreement for the house line.
  • Then, visit a regional office, area office, or customer care center.
  • Download the certificate and a photocopy of your ID card.
  • Additionally, obtain a challan form or notice for service and security charges.
  • Finally, pay the service and security charges at your selected bank.

First Sui Gas Bill
